When I first joined LinkedIn in 2008, I wasn't really sure what to make of it. Is it a social network or something else? Why do I need this when I can simply give a copy of my resume to other people or create my own website? Isn't Facebook enough? How can I use this without a portfolio feature? Then, as I started to get more invites from colleagues, friends, and other associates, I realized that I should take any opportunity to boost my exposure. Now, with LinkedIn's partnership with Behance, artists, illustrators, designers, photographers, videographers, and other creative professionals can share what is likely the most vital part of their resume: their portfolio.
